In response to your phone calls and e-mails and letters, no, ETS! has not stopped publishing! What has happened in the last few weeks, apparently, is a marked upturn in popularity. Distribution points that normally have had enough free issues to last the week are now running out quickly, and at times, we hear, ETS! has been hard to find. We've been printing extras (though we can't really afford to), but that's still just barely been enough to keep us from running out of copies.

We are hoping, in the next few weeks, to find a way to make the leap to a newsprint format, which would enable us to increase our print runs and cost us less per copy to print. In the meantime, it's kind of obvious, but the best way to ensure you see ETS! every week is to subscribe. (See page 7.) That has the added advantage of helping us with the cash flow we'll need to print more copies.

Being too popular is a nice problem to have; we certainly are planning to keep printing each week. Rest assured, if we ever do fold, it won't be quietly!

P.S. We keep forgetting to be mercantile about this, but we do have those snazzy ETS! t-shirts in stock now--the Pac-person on front, nibbling state by state, and our famous Mission Statement on the back. Off-white eco-fiber shirts, all sizes, suggested $12-15 donation. You can find 'em at our Monday night production parties, at the Vain Co. (2222 2nd Ave. in Belltown), or via mail with an extra $3 for postage. Made right here in the U.S.A.!
