Viva Boeing!
Normally I love reading Eat the State!, but I very much dislike the way Maria
Tomchick smeared Boeing in this issue.
It is very unlikely that the crash of TWA 800 was caused by a flaw in the
747's central fuel tank. There were about 200 people on the Long Island shore
who reported to the Suffolk County sheriff's office that they saw something
trailing sparks rise up from the water and end at the TWA 800 explosion.
There was a pilot in a plane following behind TWA 800 who reported that the
plane's fuel tank explosion, yellow-orange in color, was preceded by a
blue-white flash. This kind of flash is characteristic of a high-explosive
such as is found in warheads. The CIA gave the Afghans a bunch of Stinger
missiles to use on Russian planes. They probably saved a few for other
unapproved uses.
There is other evidence that doesn't jibe with the official gummint picture.
It looks to me like the gummint is covering up the truth and using Boeing as
a convenient patsy. Boeing has received, and is still receiving, so much
corporate welfare that it has probably found it prudent to go along and fix
the 'faulty' fuel tank rather than risk being kicked off the gravy train.
The korporate press, in shark mode as usual, and smelling blood on Boeing,
immediately pointed the finger at Boeing for the EgyptAir 990 crash, with NO
supporting evidence for it at all. The thrust reverser was PINNED to
physically prevent it's accidental deployment. Apparently one working thrust
reverser is all the 767 needs to land. If you don't like that, complain to
the FAA.
I am full sore pissed that you have sunk to the level of the skum-sucking
korporate press.
