This Is What A Great Movie Looks Like!

Saw "This Is What Democracy Looks Like" at the Seattle Art Museum last night at the 7 PM showing about the November WTO protest in Seattle. Terrific, inspiring film gleaned from over 300 hours of initial shooting (pardon the pun), wonderful crowd (didn't see one tee-shirt w/a logo!!!), fantastic sense of camaraderie!!! Many had to wait for the 9 PM showing and even then were turned away.

The Seattle Independent Media Center people put it together during months of effort and will offer showings next week at another venue (www.seattle.indymedia.org) for info. Not to be missed! With meanness in the air everywhere in this country lately (intelligent people organize; less aware people target scapegoats, alas) and the corporate media ignoring most of us and our growing concerns and needs...this film is what I'd call the ultimate endorfin experience!
