It's that time again, for holiday celebrations and gift giving and generosity. So a few quick seasonal reminders from your fearless friends at ETS!:

Subscription rates go up January 1! Right now, it's $16 for 20 issues, $29 for 40; after Jan. 1, due to increasing printing & postage costs, it goes to $24 for 25 issues (one year), $45 for 50 (two years). Take advantage of us now! As do 2002 War Resister League Peace Calendars, 52 weeks of stories of nonviolent activism success, co-written and co-edited by Tom Hastings and ETS!'s Geov Parrish. These have been tremendously popular--and proceeds go entirely to WRL and ETS!. $12 each or four for $44. And don't forget, ETS! also has t-shirts! ($12-$15 sliding, plus $3 postage.)

Speaking of social events, come to our first Eat the State! social potluck! We're hoping to turn this into a series of regular evenings where folks can come together without an agenda and simply hang out, share food, gripe about the world, plot how to change it, and have a good time. Good (meatless) food, musical instruments, and good vibes especially welcome.
