10 AM. Start of 2002 Hiroshima Flame Peace Walk, cross-country interfaith
pilgrimage to pray for the elimination of nuclear weapons, the abolition of
the Star Wars Missile Defense System, and the unity of all races and
peoples. Walkers will carry the Hiroshima Flame, a ceremonial flame lit
from the rubble of Hiroshima after its atomic bombing at the end of WWII.
