We who work to bring you ETS! want to meet you! Yes, you, our readers! We cordially invite you to join us for our first annual volunteer event at Caffe Vita on Thursday evening, October 18. (See our plug in this issue's Activist Calendar for further details.) Why are we promoting this gathering as a "volunteer" event? Besides Caffe Vita's usual tasty fare, ETS! writers, editors, and distributors--all volunteers--will be available for discussion, to answer questions, and to listen to your tale of woe if it just so happens that ETS!is not well distributed in your neighborhood. You see, we love meeting other folks with a burning desire to increase access to indy news media--we might even ask you to join the cause! Ever felt important perspectives on local, national, or global issues aren't being heard in corporate media's echo chamber? Why not write about them? Know of a great gathering place where people might like to pick up a copy of ETS! if *sniff* they only had the opportunity? Bring ETS! to the people and places you love! We're all volunteers and would be thrilled, thrilled to hear your feedback or help you find a way to makeETS! even better.
