Congressional Creeps

Dear Eat the State!,

I consider myself a fairly well educated person, and I try to stay abreast of current political events. But after reading Carol Davidek-Waller's brilliant article, "Congressional Responsibility for War Crimes" [ETS!, March 6], I had to hit myself on the head for not seeing the obvious. Of course, Congress would be implicating themselves if they opened up impeachment hearings on Bush/Cheney. That thought had never even occurred to me. They are ALL protecting themselves at the expense of the United States Constitution and the American people! How tragic it has all become.

All In The Radical Family

ETS!,

My son-in-law, Tom Schreier of Bothell, has been trying for nearly 15 years to make it up to me for taking my firstborn. Oh sure they made it legal, later rather than sooner (hurumph), and do have a perfectly brilliant radically feminist 10-year-old, but until he began sending me his copies of ETS! I did not feel fully compensated.

Tom, son, welcome to the family.
